SUKAZYM RW-100 N For Treatment of Anaerobic River Water
Wastewater treatment is an important public service. Wastewater treatment plants consume large amounts of energy each year and therefore has excellent conservation potential with more efficient treatment methods. The use of energy in wastewater treatment will definitely increase in the future due to growth in population, more stringent environmental regulations and higher demand for the reuse of wastewater. There are many methods and processes to treat wastewater. The most common processes of wastewater treatment involves screening and clarification to remove solids, aerobic, suspended growth, activated sludge, reduction of organic pollutants and chlorine disinfection to minimize pathogens. Although energy use in aerated lagoons and trickling filters and are more efficient than other processes, they present many drawbacks as well. Many wastewater treatment plants are shifting from chemical and chlorine-based disinfection to micro-biological disinfection to eliminate the dangers of storage and handling of toxic chemicals and residual hazards. Wastewater flow rates, concentration of solids and contaminants, type of treatment process used, government standards and regulations of effluent discharge, disinfection methods and other factors vary greatly from place to place and plant to plant. Integrating new processes to existing treatment facilities is very difficult and also quite costly.
Microbiological disinfection methods provide minimum plant design and equipment alterations and has proven to produce favorable results and proved to be cost effective.

WHAT IS SUKAZYM RW-100 NW? |
SUKAZYM RW-100 NW is a microbial-based product containing highly concentrated blend of beneficial non-pathogenic and autotrophic microorganisms plus multi-enzyme producing microbes that rapidly degrades various carbohydrates and other organic matter present in anaerobic river water with some aeration. The high activity enzymes present in SUKAZYM RW-100 NW aid in the digestion of suspended particles and complex materials in the bottom sludge for subsequent conversion into simpler molecules that can be utilized by different microorganisms for metabolism. SUKAZYM RW-100 NW also contain aerobic and facultative microorganisms with specific biodegrading abilities which are able to grow and degrade organic substances under aerobic as well as anaerobic conditions. The beneficial autotrophic microbes in SUKAZYM RW-100 NW can simultaneously oxidize hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide to sulfate or elemental sulfur and reduce nitrate to nitrogen and oxygen gases. These organisms can denitrify even in the presence of oxygen, soit can be added to both aerated and anaerobic systems. Under optimal and stable temperature, the product can rapidly degrade the organic materials in industrial, municipal and agricultural wastewater. |
BENEFITS: |
? Eliminates hydrogen sulfide gas, its accompanying undesirable odors, and related health hazards. ? Converts suspended particles, waste matter and soluble organics in the stream bottom to carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen gases, water and sulfates. ? Breaks down proteins, starches, fats and food-based oils, xylans and cellulose. ? Reduces TSs, COD and BOD. ? Reduces the amounts of nitrate and ammonia (NH3) quickly and efficiently. ? Eliminates potential inhibitory effects of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) on the nitrification process. ? Can utilize wide range of carbon sources. ? Produces less sludge than conventional or alternative methods. ? Unlike chemicals, the product is not toxic and not corrosive in any way. ? Safer to handle than hazardous chemical oxidizers. ? Environmentally friendly, all-natural process. ? Costs effective compared to other methods |
BENEFICIAL MICROOGANISM + BIOENZYMES |
? The biological process of wastewater treatment uses beneficial microorganisms and higher plant life to decompose organic matter present in the medium itself and sewage. ? Supplementation of the inherent microorganism populations with elevated concentration of selected, adapted, cultured and improved microbial strains with better survival ability, faster increase in bacterial population, high enzyme production will enhance the decomposition of organic matter. ? The survival of the added microorganisms and the rate of organic matter decomposition are enhanced by the addition of digestive enzymes that convert part of the complex organic matter in to simple sugars for instant use by the added cultures. ? Effective combination of beneficial microorganisms and bioenzymes will result to a reduction in COD, BOD and TSs levels. ? Eliminates water turbidity and Improves its clarity. ? Significantly reduces undesirable odor. |
APPLICATION & DOSAGE: |
Since contents and properties of wastewater vary from place to place, the dosage and frequency of application may also vary. It is always advisable that tests or trials be performed to determine dosage for obtaining optimum results prior to massive application.
